18 December 09, was my daughter's 11 year old birthday. She did not want any birthday party just her mom's 'popular' cake. She requested an ice cream cake, topped with fresh cream and strawberry with a dollop of strawberry filling in the center. Mom did just that.. well look at her beaming face!!Happy Birthday dear.. !!luv u soooo much..

stone giler today, ngantuks. Yawn. Last night record breaking no sleep at all!! No No No ... mana ada clubbing dah nak masuk old timer ni...reason? Hah take your pick...


Chocolate Moist.Deco ni yang paling challenge!! Takut sport car jadi kelisa lagi.. so very the berhati2 nak buat ni. Teka kereta apa?

Ni pulak Vanilla Moist Ben 10, kek yg di order kecik 8 in, edible image pulak tak jumpa yg kecik so kenalah buat besar sikit 9.5 in dan potong kaki si Ben 10 ni hah. ( Dalam hati masa tengah-tengah malam tu, berdetik, hish kena kencing manis lah pulak si Ben 10 ni hehehe...tersenyum sorang2.) Jam pukul 2.30, mata ok pulak malam-malam ni, tak puas hati sebab tulisan tak nampak.

So, kita tambahlah chocolate nak kasi nampak tulisan tu....macam tulisan cina pulak kan??

Carrot walnut Cheese birthday splurge

Alhamdulillah, entah kenapa ramai pulak yang berkenan carrot walnut cheese. Agaknya ada musim kut .. Entri kali ni adalah untuk occasion birthday , carrot walnut cheese.. my favourite. Masa deco cake tu, adalah sedikit lebihan kek yang terpaksa di potong.. sebab nak levelkan cake tu. So KB simpan dalam bekas dan siap sorok lagi takut anak2 nampak. Kebetulan KB kena pergi PD, tugasan ofis apa lagi, buat bekalanlah. Along the way Kb makan sorang2.. sedapnyer. Kb kena buat lagilah untuk sendiri makan. Tak cukup....





Sorrylah.. tulisan senget2 sikit ngantuk tu..!!Tapi tak per stylo la kunun..huhuhu..


Yang ni pun carrot walnut cheese, my mom's neighbour pulak order untuk birthday anak dia. Tapi tergeliat jugaklah nak mengeja nama anak dia!!!

Next, got this cute bear pan at BWY. Just for trial pupose decided to bake in it. Instead the cake got stuck at the pan and I had to do some major pasting job. Anyway, no effect to the taste though...better luck next time!

Happy Birthday to...ME!!

Last Sunday was my birthday. Dah tua dah every body.... I notice dulu I suka baca majalah Jelita,NONA, Wanita, Rapi, Cleo etc.. Now dah tukar genre majalah pun.. dah suka baca majalah MIDI!!!

Evolution they say!! comes naturally. But hey... life begins at 40 they say..

Tapi even though dah 40 plus.. i am still me..hati masih mcm tu.. walaupun badan makin 'gebu'.. hehehe..So everybody, don't be afraid of age, coz age are just numbers.. it is what you do with your life that matters. Make the best of everything, no matter how bad it looks, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel...

Enough with the preaching.....my eldest doter,Lia gave ME a cake for my birthday. Not from Secret Recipe or any other famous cake house but she baked it from scratch. I was so touched!! Her first ever cake and it was for ME, her mom. Nampaknye dah ada nak take over my business ni. And it tasted delicious for a first timer...Love you dear...Love you so much. And for the handbag, abang, tq and I love you too.( Psst.. now you know what I got for my birthday..hehehe..)

Minnie Mouse birthday cake -again

Order ni nun dari utara...was happy with the result. Originally nak cupcake tapi unfortunately tak ada pulak mickey mouse for cupcakes. Nak order image dah too late...so make do with this 6 inches cake. For edible image, everybody, appreciate if you place your order at least one week before the delivery date. ..

So ana, was the cake in good shape on delivery? let me know will you..?

Beberapa hari ni alhamdulillah dapat berehat. No taking orders sebab macam letih sangat. Syoknyer dapat tidur awal.. lepak tgk tv, (boring pulak astro pun dh macam tak ada show yg menarik minatku..) Favourite show sugar pun tak jumpa ..children pulak tengah musim exam.

Anyway, dalam berehat ni, of course tak tolak semua order. Still cannot refuse regular customers ( almaklum yang anytime nak bersalin, Hazana, sorry no gambar). Dan gambar ini order from Kak Enon, Chocolate Moist. Nothing special, buat deco pun tak fully to my satisfaction, tapi rasa dia guarantee nak lagi, hehe...

I have never tried baking buttercream wedding cake. Why? You might ask. Well, for one thing it is messy, sticky and well, messy.... and sticky...I guess you must know what I mean now!!
But I did attended a buttercream wedding cake course recently, just to get new input on my baking skills. Well, it turned out allright, love the outcome, great looking and tasty cakes. But it is still.... sticky and messy...

Salam diam tak diam dah habis syawal, dah nak habis tahun 2009 pun.. hehe. Dah tiba pula musim Haji. Semoga semua yang akan menjadi tetamu Allah dapat selamat pergi dan mendapat Haji Mabrur. Semoga Allah membuka jalan untuk kita segera menyusul menjadi tetamu Allah, insyaallah.

Entri kali ini tak ada yang istimewa cuma kek vanila dan cheese cake untuk hari jadi anak-anak sahabat for the weekend . Warna tema pink, I decided to go for pastel shades to make it more sweeter, maklumlah anak daras.... Happy birthday Awin, smoga cepat dapat jodoh...

This is a tricky one, this order was : cheese cake with edible image (Mickey). I was not too happy to put butttercream on a classic baked cheese cake..but to put the image i had to, hope it does not effect the taste...

Salam Aidil fitri pada semua pelanggan dan pengunjung blog. Sebulan berpuasa, musim open house pun bermula. Tak lupa juga musim kenduri kahwin. KB pada tahun ni tak dapat beraya sakan, asyik dok rumah menghabiskan tempahan yang tak putus. Alhamdulillah berkat doa semua kenalan, pelanggan dan restu hubby. Wedding cake, asyik dapat order yang seperti dalam blog jer, adaw jugak wedding yang same design yang tak di uploadkan takut orang boring... ingat nak expand kreativiti, so tambahlah sikit riben sana sini...hu hu hu.

Miniature cakes, Fuh ini betul challenge.. with such a close dateline with the 2 tier wedding cake,3 hari stretch dan tak tidur malam 2 hari berturut2 ...nak siapkan 90 set only.. sakit belakang mak..Pada yang berkenaan , patik mohon ampun dan maaf diatas imperfections dan flaws yang tidak disengajakan dalam mengejar dateline. Tapi itu bukan excuse, i will definitely will take into account all the comments for the best... insyaallah.. nak bagi the best tu all my customer
