Recipe & tutorial : apple pie

Salam semua, hmm... pada sesiapa yang teringin jer nak makan apple pie tu apa kata buat sendiri kat dapur tu...kalau tak tau, hah meh Kb ajar....

Ok, kelas bermula sekarang. (Perhatian, kelas akan dijalankan secara tutorial dalam loghat utara... )

mola2 cik2, puan2 semua, kita sukat dulu bahan dia. Kb suka pastri yag berlapih lapih tu tapi ngenyah sikit nak buat kena peghap semalaman tp KB terjumpa kat Fine cooking, simple sgt, walaupun tak berlapih sgt tpi rasa dia ok gak...

Pastri:

1 Mentega dan tepung sama bnyk (Kb pakai 1 cwn mentega n 1 cwn tpg)
Warning: (mentega halo!! AMBIK yg sejuk gedi... k?? marjerin kalu...mampuih sampai bisok pg hang uli pun x jadik. bok kluaq dari frij teghuih potong 4 sagi kecik2)

2 Ayaq sejuk
pun dari frij gak.bukan ayaq ketui tau!!ayaq yg hanpa minum tu. ( hah? bnyk mana? o.. setengah dari kuantiti tepung dan mentega tadi)KB pakai x smpai 1/2 cwn pun...

Cara:

1. Peh tu, hangpa ulilah dia. Ramaih mentega gn tepung tu ngan jari sampai dia peghoi.....peghoi je jgan sampai mentega tu cayaq...k.(cair!!... amboi baghu berapa haghi dok kl dah tak gheti..cayak tu apa.....)

2. Peh tu, tuang ayaq sejuk sikit2. jgn bnyk sgt, sat gi dia keghaih..sikit sikit sampai dia jadi boleh uli . kalau dia masih peghoi tak pa...pupuk2 , gelek dia jadi 4 sagi tepat. peh tu, kita lipat dia mcm kita dok lipat kain pelekat cik abang kita tu...hehe.

haq kiri lipat kanan, haq kanan lipat kiri...jadilah cam kat bawah ni...

3. Peh tu, kita pusing dia 90 darjah, dia jd menegak .

4. Gelek lagi... peh tu kita lipat lagi. dan pusing 90 darjah lagi...gelek, lipat, pusing, gelek lipat pusing, ulang sampai esok pagi..

oops! melawak jer!! KB buat ikut suka sampai nak tercabut gaklah tgn.. kunun nak bg bnyk lapih dah nipih, sedap..kunun.

5. peh tu, wrap dia dengan cling wrap (gambaq x dak. lupa nak snap)boh dalm frij. kurang2 1/2 jam.

mentara tu, kita masak inti apple pie pulak na....

1. Ambik 6 biji, epal ( korang pun tak pa, ikut suka hangpa..), buang kulit, empuloq dia, peh tu potong kecik2. mcm dlm gambaq tu.-oops! kalau rasa cam sakit mata, sila abaikan pungkoq lesung tu na... 2. 1 cawan gula

3. 1/2 cawan ayaq

4. Masak 2 gn 3, campoq epal yg dah siang tadi. masak sampai dia jadi brown.



5. 1/2 sudu teh serbuk pelaga, serbuk kulit kayu manis dan mixed spices. tauk jer dlam peghiuk tu. (time ni dia punya naik bao,sampai naik pecah ayaq liuq..., siap tisu nak lap hehe..)

6. last sekali 1 sudu besaq tepung jagung campoq ayaq mati kacau, tauk lagi dlam peghiuk...

7. Perah 1 sudu besaq ayaq lemon, tauk lg dlm peghiuk...


7. Hah ni dia , dah jadi pekat, masa ni bolehlah ghasa... nalla punya sedap..!!( Inti ni pakai reka ikut tekak.. bila ghasa!! fuh! cam betui jer ..kira orait lah tu..kan)

Tips: kalau boleh kasi kering ayaq dia sebab nanti boh dlam kulit pai tu, kulit tu jadi benyiak( betui ke ejaan benyiak??!!)orang perak kata benyor....maksud dia tulah..

Keluarkan pastri dari frij cuba trai test sikit boh dlam oven, kalau dia naik belapih tu jadilah..

canai pastri boh dalam casing pie,boh inti, tutup gn doh lagi. ambik garpu tekan kat tepi jadi paten cucuk tengah. last sekali sapu gn kuning teloq...bakaq...45 min, 160 deg. C. atau sampai dia jadi cam dlm gambaq ni. cek kulit bawah dia kalau dia keghaih tu kigha masak lah dah..

Ok.. siap .. amacam cantik tak??tgk jerlah.. ye puan 2 semua. bendanye dah selamat anak2 dan mak anak makan .

ngap masa panas. fuh sedap... dengan bau dia ...selegha!!!

( Inti dan pastri mentah tu boleh freezerkan. tahan lama..kut2 emergency, mana tau tiba2 mak mertua mai boleh jamu... uuih!! naik saham!!)hehehe...

Ghasa dulu, kalau jadi baru jamu kalau tak..

nasihat KB:

Brrrooom jer.. dalam tong kat belakang ghumah tu.. setat mutu ka kegheta ka, pi kedai yg ada simbol M besaq tu, pi minta kat adik tu ...'Apple pie satu...'

Recipe-cotton soft japanese cheesecake

Just to share with u the recipe for Soft Cotton Japanese Cheesecake. Tried and tested... real cotton soft and light . Just nice for those who could not take the solid rich taste of cheesecake.

My version of the recipe... jadik!!
COTTON SOFT JAPANESE CHEESECAKE

140g fine granulated sugar
6 egg whites
6 egg yolks
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
50g butter
250g cream cheese
100 ml fresh milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
60g cake flour/superfine flour
20g cornflour
1/4 tsp. salt
Instructions:1. Melt cream cheese, butter and milk over a double boiler. Cool the mixture. Fold in the flour, the cornflour, egg yolks, lemon juice and mix well.
2. Whisk egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy. Add in sugar and whisk until soft peak.
3. Add cheese mixture to the egg white mixture and mix well. Pour into a 8-inch round cake pan (lightly grease and line the bottom and sides of the pan with greaseproof baking paper or parchment paper).
4. Bake cheesecake in a water bath* for 1 hour 10 minutes or until set and golden brown at 160 degrees C.

Apple pie n Japanese Cotton cheesecake

This week was a good week. I had a good rest and thus ample time for me to try new recipes..hah.heaven!!

I went to the local cake supplier and found on the shelve, ready made apple pie fillings. Slurp!! teringin pulak nak makan apple pie, macam MCD punya tapi nak buat sendiri in my own kitchen. So bought the filling and terus buat pastry and bake in small dumpling size...habis kukorbankan sorang!!!There goes my hips ... AGAIN!





Marble cake...tah bila nyer order,picture yang tak sempat upload. upload jerlah hehehe!! My doter's favourite anyway...

Syawal 2010

Salam syawal...

Selagi syawal belum berakhir, selagi itulah kita saling kunjung mengunjung.ziarah menziarahi, KL kian sesak setiap hujung minggu. KB tahun ni tak berkesempatan untuk mengadakan rumah terbuka, sebenarnya rumah KB sentiasa terbuka..tapi kalau nak makan sedap kenaalh jugak telefon. hehe. Tapia apapun KB sibuk tetap sibuk, sampai tak berkesempatan mengupdate blog.
