2010 the year that was.....

Dah dekat hujung tahun 2010, dan minggu depan kita akan menyambut awal muharram mulalah nostalgia, teirngat tahun 2010 ni terasa begitu cepat berlalu. mcm2 happening, yg baik akan selalu dikenang.

24 November 2010: Dinner at Sheraton Imperial....sempena bersara Datuk Kamaruddin our Adviser/Managing Director.

Kenangan juga sb last dinner dgn adik nana, yg dah dapat keje kat better place although sedih, all my best wishes for her. Semoga dia berjaya ditempat baru..Kenangan gediks bersama especially masa lunch tak mungkin dpt dilupakan.

Ni pun best fwen gak.. dah pencen pun kak ana. sentiasa understanding. kagum dgn sikap sabar dan pemurah dia, kalau ada orang yang lebih berkeperluan walaupun dalam beg ada rm10 jer, rm 10 tu tetap akan diberikan pada orang berkenaan..ayat fames dia 'TAK PE..ALLAH AKAN PUSINGKAN REZEKI AKU, JA..' dan dengan kuasa Allah juga rezeki dia sentiasa murah...

Hah ni masa untuk melaram, mcm komen dalam fb, sharifah aini, poziah latif gn ifa raziah ..hehehe
Nilah rakan sekerja sekarang yg gantikan Abang Husaini....belum keluar gedik dan taring lagi ... maklumlah baru hehehe...

Dan 27 NOvember 2010 bake wedding cake. KEadaan kek ketika telah 'di kekahkan ...'

Pre reunion gathering-pink and turquoise/green cuppies

Today,

A few of my long lost school mate are going to Fatty Crabs for a Pre Re-union meet.Wah! Crab lagi.. I just love to eat crabs. Anyway, while looking at the extra cuppies I happen to have, I decided to deco some for them to ta pau.. Started deco at 10 pm..hmm..so.. deco jadi simple2 jelah...

Pink and purple delights

The above are orders for a cousin in Titiwangsa wanting something in pink for their daughter. Hope you like it.

There are some extra cuppies .. not knowing what to do with it, I experimented with some designs and tried out a different buttercream recipe...stiff consistency for the hot and humid wheather and so my flowers and leaf design do not droop. For the base i stick to the normal recipe (boiling of the sugar)I only use the new recipe for the designs. It's perfect, did not melt at all, and stayed in perfect shape although I just leave it out at room temperature. I didn't like the texture though, it still has some gritty feel of the icing sugar to it. Distributed some to my 'bestest' friend at the office. Well, Kak Ana apa komen??

Icy Blue

Fruit Cupcake with buttercream deco. (Sorry for the blurr image. My camera is having some major problems.) Atached is the before and after picture of the above project. The name Icy Blue is given by my daughter Camelia. She just loves the design. For those who love the taste of mixfruit, raisins and all, this design is ideal as a gift from all of you gals specially for your beau..on Valentines Day or any other special day.
